Oratory of San Joseph: The largest Churchin Canada
A man with a vision - is not
it great starting work? This man was the brother of Andre, and vision was to
build a cathedral on the top of the mountain cathedral in honor of St. Joseph.

Brother Andre, secular name
that sounds like Alfred Besett, was born in 1845 in a small town, which is
located near Montreal. Alefred was the eighth child in a poor French family.
Brother Andrew was 28 years
old when he entered the Congregation of the Holy Cross, but because of his poor
health, he did not take monastic vows. But one brother Andre saw a prophetic
dream, in which St. Joseph called Andre heal people. Soon Brother Andre really
discovered his gift of healing. He began to come every day to patients at home
and rub it in the wound healing oil, thereby taking away the pain of suffering.
In the end, the crowd of
people began lining up at the door to Brother Andre healed them. People reached
for him, and soon brother André organized a campaign to raise funds for the
construction of a chapel on Mont-Royal. But the little chapel - it's not
something dreamed Andre, and in 1924 he began the construction of Saint-Joseph
Oratory.
In 2010, the Vatican canonized
Brother André. On the territory of the oratorio St. Zhozen a museum, which
houses his heart and body of his brother Andre is still lying under the main
chapel oratorio as ordered Saints.
