For the abundance of attractions, Rouen nicknamed - city of hundred towers, a hundred bells, and a hundred museums. But the main thing here - the historic integrity, as if you find yourself in the Middle Ages - on the streets of half-timbered houses narrow, sharp roof, shutters, flower pots of geraniums. And if we remember that most of these house icons 500-600 years, the story becomes a part of you...

The city was conquered by the Normans in 841 and in 896 became the capital of Normandy. After the Normans ruled the English kings. Only Philip II Augustus during the 'just war' against vassal, a role which will of fate turned out to be the king of England, John Lackland, in 1204, winning over Normandy. Rouen resisted for 40 days and then came into the possession of the King of France. Rouen was surrounded by oak forests, so the houses are built of wooden skeletons, which are then laid the stone. The resulting solution and daubed walls painted. Now the streets of Rouen resemble children's watercolor.

After walking around the city the way we are, in a beautiful town of Etretat, where we stop for lunch, off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Here paradise for gourmet’s seafood will be served the freshest oysters, mussels, crabs, lobsters, fish, and so on. D. After the second Normandy Brittany seafood supplier in France!

Etretat  (Etretat) - a picturesque corner of Upper Normandy, nestled among the cliffs Alabaster coast (Cote d'Albatre) in the Maritimes department of Seine (Seine-Maritime). Amazingly beautiful nature of these places attracts tourists from all over the world. Today Etretat is one of the most visited places in France. Despite this, the streets cannot see the crowds of tourists, the city is quiet and peaceful. In the past, Etretat was a small fishing village, but in the early 19th century, these amazing landscapes discovered the Impressionist painters, composers and other creative individuals. For inspiration here came the famous writers and artists. The modest town turned into a luxurious resort with a theater and a casino. Writers Dumas, Hugo, Maupassant and Carr lived here a long time, and artists praised the city in his paintings - Corot, Boden, Delacroix, Monet and Manet. In 1906, on the hill was built a golf course, with stunning views of the sea. Still, the main attraction of Etretat - this natural splendor of the white cliffs projecting into the sea and forming a vast arch. You can admire the cliffs and top with customs Trail that runs along the coast, and below them strolling along the deserted beaches between the ridges of rocks at low tide.

And here we are well fed, rested, gain strength to go on our way following two beautiful town of Deauville and Trouville.

Deauville - a seaside resort in Normandy at La Mancha. The resort is ready to welcome guests all year round!  Deauville - gourmet dishes. As the French say, to truly appreciate the gourmet meal, you have to be fed. To truly appreciate the exquisite taste of Deauville, you have to be not only well fed, but also rich. This small Normandy resort on the Atlantic coast have long been chosen by the French kinobogema and wealthy people of all ages and countries. At various times rested Catherine Deneuve, Isabelle Adjani, Vanessa Paradis, Jean-Paul Belmondo and Gerard Depardieu. Trouville - Deauville twin. The city is an example of unique architecture with magnificent villa early XX century, so typical of the entire Normandy coast. Trouville fishing village there since the days of the Vikings. In the second half of the XIX century on the lush coastline (Cote Fleurie) on the initiative of the Duke of Morny, half-brother of Napoleon III, Trouville began to expand, here spent the railroad tracks. Trouville popularity largely contributed paintings of the artist Charles Mozena which exposed landscapes little fishing village in 1825 at the Paris Salon. With the emergence of fashion for sea baths city turned into a resort - the first on this coast! Casino, built in the style of Louis XVI, was at that time the most popular on the Normandy coast.

Trouville - attracted by its charm not only Parisian aristocrats and artists. There have written Isabey, Monet, Boudin and Pissarro. It was at Trouville Gustave Flaubert met his first love, and Alexandre Dumas, George Sand and Charles Nodier liked to rest here. Every day on the waterfront a lively fish market, along the wide beaches are open late into the night many bars and restaurants where you can enjoy the freshest seafood. In contrast to the pompous chic Deauville, a combination of the atmosphere of the resort town of idleness and daily life of a small fishing port of Trouville gives a special charm.

After all seen and heard the day, we return to Paris.
