Bar, The interior of which is Decoratedwith a Million Pennies (USA)
In an abandoned villageMikkitrik California is an unusual sight - a dive bar, which is lined with more
than a million pennies. Coins cling to everything: pool table, floor, ceiling,
and even television.
People, who are engaged in
collecting coins, as a rule, do not know what to do with them next. The most
common way - wait until the large quantity of copper money, and then give their
"wealth" to the cashier at the bank. But Annie Moore, bought with her
husband Michael Moore a little dive bar, found his collection of pennies
somewhere better use. Annie with her husband to pieces copper coins from edge
to edge around the bar.
They say that the bar Annie
and Michael Moores now adorns the more than one million pennies, with only one
floor covered with two hundred thousand pennies. Of course, Mr. Moore did not
consider each coin: it only multiplied the number of coins that falls on one
square meter in the area of the premises.
In the village Mikkitrik,
where only 190 people (if you count the cats and dogs), bar, lined with one
million copper coins for local residents is not just an interesting place as a
second home. This is almost certainly the wedding day come the newlyweds and
wedding photographer captures them on the background of numerous coins.
Bar penny, of course, fell in
love with the tourists and attracted media attention. Over the past year bar
Moores visited by many guests, each of whom left their pennies.
In the near future Mura plans
to sell its own bar, and they hope that a new buyer will retain a rich
collection. “We need a buyer who would appreciate our collection of penny
"- says Michael Moore.
